Heronbuild was established in January 1994 and we have grown in a controlled manner to establish ourselves as we are now. 

We aim to offer an efficient service from introduction through to completion, keeping within specified budgets, working to high standards, completing on time & ensuring good customer service & relations.

The core of our labour force has been with us from inception and these, supplemented with additional labour carefully sourced since, have had many years experience within the Building Industry.  Other than mechanical & electrical works, roofing & glazing, all trades are covered by our own employed labour force. 

We have made a big investment in our staff, premises, vehicles, plant etc and are now able to consistently achieve our aim of providing an excellent service at a sensible price.

As can be seen from the attached Client and Contracts lists, our Company is quite capable of handling contracts of any size up to £1M as well as minor works and day to day maintenance.

We have in place a reliable management structure, comprising the directors, contracts manager and foremen, ably assisted by our administration section.

Our managing director Barry Blemings is a fully qualified quantity surveyor & member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.

Our contracts manager Andrew Witter is qualified in Construction Science, Management and Health & Safety.  He is an Incorporate of the Chartered Institute of Building & a Technical  member of The Institute of Occupational Health and Safety.
